Music Comes To You has been created by Agnieszka Bialek, a Polish-born flautist, pianist, teacher, composer and author.
For the last 9 years Agnieszka has organized and curated various courses in Austria, Poland and Ireland, working with both children and adults - from 6-year-olds to well over 70-year-olds. It is the sharing with others of various kinds of musical experiences that has become her passion and profession. She focuses on teaching one-to-one, giving flute lessons, piano lessons, and aural training courses online as well as in music schools and her students' homes.
She chose music not only because she learned to enjoy and love it since she started attending intensive music classes over 20 years ago, but also because becoming a brilliant musician also seemed more challenging than anything else - and therefore most tempting. During her studies in Poland, Austria and Ireland she was fortunate enough to work with a host of wonderful teachers, finding great support in them and necessary advice.
Agnieszka graduated with a master degree with first-class honors from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Having studied Instrumental and Vocal Music Education while taking the flute as her main instrument, she also studied Composition and Music Theory with the piano as her main instrument, and specialized in Chamber Music, Conducting, and Inclusive Music Education.
In her ebook Music Practice Decoded. The Psychology of Getting Brilliant in Music, Agnieszka synthesizes 40 highly-acclaimed and best-selling publications on the subject and gives numerous practical ideas for making one's practice more effective and enjoyable. The ebook is therefore a highly useful guide for musicians and music lovers, backed by thorough scientific research and presenting the process of practice in as full, holistic way as possible.
As a composer Agnieszka concentrates on creating music for small instrumental ensembles, soloists and choirs.
